Stainless Steel Annular Ring Shank Nails are designed with a ringed shank that provides superior holding power compared to a smooth-shank nail. When driven into wood, the rings on the shank separate the wood fibers, which then close back around the nail, creating a high level of grip and resistance to withdrawal. These nails are made from corrosion-resistant A2 (Grade 304) stainless steel, making them ideal for external applications, such as timber cladding, decking, and fencing.
