High Tensile studding - A4-80 Stainless Steel Threaded Rod. Metric Coarse Thread.

DIN 976.

A4-80 is a high-tensile, austenitic grade 4 stainless steel that is commonly used in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and offshore industries. It is strain hardened through a cold working process that involves drawing the bar through fixed diameter die heads. This process gives the material the mechanical characteristics of carbon/alloy steel fasteners while also providing good corrosion protection.

Typically A4-80 DIN 976 Stainless Steel Studding, has the following properties:

Yield Stress: At least 600 Mpa
Tensile Strength: At least 800 Mpa
Elongation: 0.3xd
